Eligibility

Eligible organizations must qualify as exempt organizations under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. Organizations must be aligned with the mission of the Foundation with preference shown to organizations supporting vulnerable seniors and children with disabilities, including physical, mental, emotional, and economic. Priority will be shown to applicants working within Sarasota and the surrounding communities that address essential needs such as healthcare, economic equity, safe living, and two-gen programming.

No funds shall be used for political advocacy or political campaigns. Other restrictions include grants to individuals and those for endowment.

Current grant recipients must submit a final report prior to applying for additional funding unless otherwise agreed upon by the Foundation.

Deadlines

Applications are due April 1, 2024. Applicants will be notified of selection by mid-May and funds will be distributed in early June.
